Reports said that Milkbasket has picked up an additional investment amounting to $7 million investment from Mayfield Fund and others in its Series A funding round on Friday.
Gurgoan based Malikbasket has raised $7 million investment from a United States based venture capital firm named as Mayfield Fund and others including its existing investors.
The company said that it will use the investment for fresh recruitment, technology and mostly importantly for making services accessible to wider customer base across other cities in India.
Founded by INSEAD business school alumnus Anant Goel, Ashish Goel, Anurag Jain and Yatish Talvadia, Milkbasket is an online platform providing milk and grocery products during everyday morning hours at the doorsteps of customers.
It is noteworthy to mention that the latest $7 million has taken its total investment to $19.4 Million that it raised in six rounds.
Milkbasket, in recognition of its steps towards delivering innovative solutions, has been rewarded twice. Besides winning Startup of the Year 2017, Milkbasket, on 16th of July, 2018, was given the Micro Logistics Startup of the Year Award by the Entrepreneur Group.
